SIAM-Simons Undergraduate Summer Research Program This program establishes five sites across the U.S. for a program of research and learning in applied mathematics and computational science. One faculty mentor and two students at each site will work together as participants learn how to conduct scientific research, effectively communicate mathematics and computational science principles, and gain an improved understanding of how they can pursue a career in applied mathematics and computational science. - Application to be a participant for summer 2025 will open November 2024
SIAM Postdoctoral Support Program This program provides up to $15,000 in financial support for postdoctoral researchers to work with a mentor from a different institution. The goal is to foster direct research experience and professional development. Up to four postdoc/mentor pairs will be selected annually. Learn more here.The application remains open until annual funding is expended, but the priority deadline for applications is November 1, 2024.
